Donate to the Gary J Taylor Memorial Fund

This year we have an opportunity to build upon a youth scholarship fund which has been established in memory of Mr. Gary Taylor. Gary, a Job Point family member for 16 years, had an unmatched passion for serving young adults and built our world-class YouthBuild program. Gary passed away unexpectedly in December 2016, and it is our every intention to ensure his legacy lives on for generations to come.

To honor his spirit and acknowledge the outstanding accomplishments of a young person, we introduce Avery Nelson, the first recipient of the Gary J. Taylor Memorial award. Avery is a graduate of our YouthBuild program, a former Award of Excellence winner and has been gainfully employed for a number of years.  Recently, he expressed a desire to continue his training to provide an even better life for his family.  To support Avery, as he embarks on this new journey, it is our honor and privilege to provide him a scholarship in memory of our beloved Gary.

We ask for your support to help fund subsequent awards to youths seeking to improve their future.
