It is the policy and practice of Job Point to provide services to persons without regard to race, creed, color, gender, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, or Viet Nam era veteran, except where bona fide occupational requirements exist. This policy will remain consistent with Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Section IV of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the ADA Amendments Act of 2008, and any other applicable laws.   For persons sixteen years or older, vocational services shall also be provided without regard to age.

Fees for Services

There are fees for some of the services we provide.  A current schedule of fees can be provided upon request.  Generally, fees are paid by sponsoring agencies such as Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation Services for the Blind , a Workforce Investment Board, Division of Probation or Parole, Veteran’s Administration or other third party.

Upon Arrival

When you arrive at Job Point, you will discuss service options with your advisor.  This person ensures services delivered are effective and timely. S/he coordinates with other individuals involved in your vocational planning and development.  Your advisor is available throughout your stay at Job Point and ensures your needs are being met and you are treated with respect and dignity.

Policy on Availability of Public Information

Job Point is entrusted to serve our community and receives public and private funding in order to provide quality services that achieve measurable outcomes.  Accurate and up to date information pertaining to scope of service, financials, performance, accreditation, customer satisfaction and quality is made readily available and upon request.  Job Point’s written Code of Ethical Conduct is also made available upon request.  Methods utilized to disseminate public information include but are not limited to: quarterly newsletter, annual report, web site, social media, mailings and postings in our offices.  Public information is shared with persons served, personnel and other stakeholders according to the needs of the specific group, including: the format, content and timeliness.  Additional information or alternative formats may be obtained by contacting the Director of Marketing and Research at 573-474-8560 or at info@jobpointmo.org. Confidential information will not be shared without confirmation of a current, specific and non-expired Authorization to Disclose form.  Outcome information is included in, but not limited to our quarterly newsletter, annual report, website, and postings in our office locations.
