Sam’s Club Hosts Job Point Participants in Recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month - October 30, 2013

Sams Club - DEAM 2013On Thursday, October 17, 2013, Sam’s Club hosted four persons served by Job Point for a half day in celebration of Disability Employment Awareness Month.  The morning was kicked off with introductions, followed by an overview of Sam’s culture and its 3 Basic Beliefs.  Job Point participants received a tour of the facility, met associates and practiced interviewing skills with Sam’s managers.  Lunch was provided during a wrap up, question and answer session.  Job Point President & CEO, Jim Loveless, said, “Sam’s Club understands a strong workforce is one inclusive of the skills and talents of all individuals, including individuals with disabilities.  We appreciate this opportunity being made available for the people we serve.  Our clientele enjoyed the experience immensely and benefited from the real-world exposure to such a successful corporate culture.”
