Announcing Youth Opportunities (YOP) Tax Credits - November 4, 2013

Plan now to reduce your tax liability. Fifty percent tax credits are available from the Missouri Department of Economic Development in exchange for contributions made to Job Point’s Columbia Builds Youth program. A $5,000 donation before December 31st would provide high school equivalency testing for 66 high-risk students. In addition, that same gift would result in $2,500 off the bottom line of your Missouri tax return. In all, your $5,000 donation may only have a net cost to you of $800. Please consult your tax advisor for details and be part of the solution for our community’s youth. For more information, contact Brenda Overkamp or Nancy Silver at 573.474.8560.
