Job Point proudly announced its 2014 Award Recipients during its Annual Banquet at the Donald W. Reynolds Alumni Center on February 25th. From over 500 persons served, two individuals were honored for exemplary employment and personal achievement with an Award of Excellence. Maria Burns is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Valley View Health & Rehab in Moberly, MO, after completing Job Point’s CNA program in partnership with Preferred Futures Healthcare Academy. Sekou Gaidi is employed with University of Missouri Event Production Services. Job Point salutes these phenomenal individuals for their determination in overcoming barriers to employment. Ray Kaisher, Instructor, was honored as the Employee of the Year for his outstanding contribution in promoting Job Point’s mission. University of Missouri Health Care was selected as the Employer of the Year for promoting the abilities of individuals seeking employment and greater participation in community life. Moser’s was honored as Partner of the Year for their exceptional support. Sara Naatz, University of Missouri student, was acknowledged as Volunteer of the Year for her invaluable
contributions.
