Columbia Builds Youth (CBY)

Columbia Builds Youth (CBY) Assists disadvantaged youth to advance educational levels, obtain skills training in the construction field, develop leadership abilities and advance towards high growth, high-demand occupations, while building affordable housing in our community’s most impoverished neighborhoods.

Civic Youth Corps (CYC)

Civic Youth Corps (CYC) addresses the needs of juvenile offenders through volunteer work and academic enrichment. Community service projects are planned around the participants’ vocational goals and high-demand or emerging occupations, to include green initiatives, allied health fields, skilled trades, customer service and management/ supervision.

Who we are

Job Point is Missouri’s premier employment center and community development corporation, fully accredited by the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF). Since 1965, we have been linking people and jobs by providing career counseling and job placement assistance.
What we do

We specialize in preparing individuals to enter the workforce, while meeting a critical need of the business community. We are proud of the expertise of our staff and the results we achieve. Customer satisfaction at 95% is our number one priority, with personal attention as our specialty.
Our successes

For the fiscal year ending June 2012, we served 694 people, with job seekers entering employment at an average hourly wage of $9.56. Seventy-three percent of adults maintained employment for at least 90 days.
