Title CNA Clinical Supervisor – Part Time

The CNA Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the supervision of the CNA students during their
100 hours of on-the-job training in a licensed long-term care facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Shall be a registered professional nurse or licensed practical nurse, currently licensed in Missouri or
shall have a temporary permit from the Missouri State Board of Nursing. The licensee shall not be
subject of current disciplinary action, such as censure, probation, suspension, or revocation.

Shall have at a minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care facility if not currently employed
by the facility.

Must have or be able to complete a Clinical Supervisor training seminar approved by the Department
of Health and Senior Services within 30 days of employment.

Must have or be able to obtain a valid Class E Missouri driver’s licse within 30 days of employment
and possess an excellent driving record.

Must have or be able to obtain certification in First Aid/CPR and Positive Supports within 90 days of

Teach Job Point students the skills necessary to perform basic construction as it pertains to Highway Heavy Construction with a focus on soft skills and leadership development.  Modify the curriculum and materials as required to meet individual and program needs. Responsible for executing classroom plans and the on-site construction training of students enrolled in the highway/heavy programs.

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of professional construction experience working with all elements of highway/heavy construction.
  • Certified or ability to obtain certification with NCCER.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience managing work crews and construction sites.
  • Experience working in a team setting.
  • Ability to work enthusiastically with young people who have not completed high school
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid Class E Missouri driver’s license within designated time frame and possess an excellent driving record.
  • Must have or be able to obtain certification in CPR, First Aid and Positive Supports within designated time frame.

 

Working Conditions

  • Work is normally performed in both a typical interior/office and outdoor work environment.

Responsible for the oversight of on-site construction training of students enrolled in Job Point’s construction/carpentry programs.  Oversee/teach students the skills necessary to perform gut rehabilitation or new construction of a house, provide supportive guidance and encourage the development of leadership skills.  Teach basic vocational education of National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), modifying the curriculum and materials when required to meet individual and program needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of five years of professional construction experience working with all elements of housing construction, two of which preferred in an instructor’s role in a classroom, construction training program setting or owner of a successful construction-related business.  Must have or be able to obtain a valid Class E Missouri driver’s license and possess an excellent driving record.

Title YouthBuild Advisor

Job Information

Responsible for coordinating activities which create an environment of transformation for students attending Job Point’s YouthBuild program. Provide ongoing support, advocacy and guidance to program participants to help them manage personal, legal and social service needs, specifically those that interfere with their ability to meet program requirements and their personal goals. Work closely with YB team members to build the leadership skills of each youth served. The Advisor serves as case manager for all YB students and works in tandem with the Placement Specialist (PS).  Responsible for developing and monitoring Individual Employment Plan (IEP) to meet program objectives/youths goals and maintaining case records ensuring all required documentation is included. The Advisor is also responsible for intra-and inter- agency referrals for service and tracking, reporting and documentation of the consumer’s progress. Instructs Moral Reconation Therapy, Power Source, and Drug Awareness classes.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Social Work or related field from a certified university, and at least 4 years in experience in case management. Master’s degree preferred.  Related work experience may be substituted for educational qualifications.

Placement Specialist – The Placement Specialist works to develop and maintain relationships with community businesses and employers which lead to informational interviewing opportunities, shadowing experiences, short-term job placement, long-term career placement and/or enrollment in post-secondary education, military, registered apprenticeships/national service.  S/he works closely with location staff to match persons receiving services appropriately with job/career opportunities.  Partners with other company placement staff to ensure a coordinated effort is made promote Job Point’s expertise in addressing and meeting the needs of local employers while fully addressing the requirements of persons served and referring entities.  Primary responsibility is to the YouthBuild program.

Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, human resources or a related field with one year of professional experience.  Working with people with barriers to employment is preferred. Related work experience may be substituted for educational qualifications.
