Job Point is now providing OSHA construction training in Columbia, MO. Classes are offered in OSHA – 10, OSHA – 30 and Flagger Certification. The courses are taught by OSHA certified instructors. As described by OSHA, the 10 and 30 hour classes “provide training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. The 10-hour class is intended for entry level workers, while the 30-hour class is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility.” Many businesses and unions require OSHA training for their employees as an industry-recognized standard. Job Point’s four hour Flagger Certification course meets requirements of the Missouri Department of Transportation. Job Point’s two-day class OSHA 10 + Flagger Certification will be offered June 7-8 and again June 14-15. To register, call 573-474-8560 or go to http://www.jobpointmo.com/osha-training.
